One of the more anecdotally events of the Squadron’s life, was when the pilots themselves, with the members of maintenance,

played the leading roles while filming the movie “NO LE BUSQUES TRES PIES”.(don’t look for three feet).

They had to become actors during the takes in which they appeared with the F-104G and their groups.

Another of the activities in which the Squadron was involved, was during the filming by NODO (old news organization) of a short segment on the life of the Squadron, volunteers were asked to participate and be filmed during their daily routine activities.

Another well-known film in which they were involved was, “POR LOS CIELOS DE ESPAÑA”  (Over the Spanish Skies),

in which they filmed, using the reconnaissance pod of the aircraft, almost all of the cities, coasts and panoramic views of Spain.

Over the Spanish skies was filmed taking advantage of the different missions that took place during weeks at the time and that

the area coincided with the panoramic views mentioned.
